Chicken with Yogurt and Tomato, an original dish from the Happy Chief Cook.

Chicken in a creamy sauce made from chicken stock, cream, whole yogurt and spices.
It has a slightly spicy flavor and very creamy.

Serves: 2.
Preparation time: about 35 minutes.


4 chicken thigh fillets,
1 tablespoon ghee,
0.25 liters of whipping cream,
0.25 liters of whole yogurt,
34 grams tomato paste,
2 teaspoons sambal oelek,
0.5 teaspoon ground ginger,
0.5 teaspoon ground cumin,
1 teaspoon ground cardamom,
2 teaspoons cinnamon,
1 chicken stock cube,
0.25 liters of boiling hot water,
salt to taste.


Heat the ghee in a wok and fry the chicken thighs fillets brown.

Dissolve the chicken stock cube in hot water and add it to the dish.
Stir everything well.

Add the tomato paste and stir it well.

Bring it to a boil and reduce the heat to the lowest setting.
Let it simmer for 20 to 25 minutes.
Turn over the pieces of chicken regularly.

Bring the sauce to the boil, to make it thicker.
As soon as the sauce thickened as desired, it is ready to serve.
