An easy spicy tomato soup with onion, green bell pepper, chilli and noodles. An original soup recipe from the Happy Chief Cook.

An easy spicy tomato soup with onion, green bell pepper, chilli and noodles.

Preparation time: 30 minutes.
Serves: 4.


1 liter boiling water,
2 tablespoons sunflower oil,
1 sweet white onion,
1 green bell pepper,
1 red chilli,
2 teaspoons ginger powder,
1 chicken breast,
0.5 lime,
1 block of noodles,
2 chicken bouillon cubes,
1 small can tomato paste (68 grams).


Cut the sweet white onion in half.
Cut them into slices of 1 centimeter thick.
Cut the onion slices then across in half.

Heat the sunflower oil in the wok, and fry the onions over medium heat.

Cut in the meantime, the green bell pepper into small thin strips.

Cut the red chilli into very thin slices.

Cut the chicken into small thin strips.

Add the strips of chicken to the fried onions and stir fry until the chicken is completely discolored on high heat.

Add the ginger powder and stir everything thoroughly.
Then add the green bell pepper and add the red chilli and stir fry for 1 minute.

Crumble the chicken bouillon cubes through the dish, and pour the boiling water over it.
Add then the tomato paste.
Bring it to a boil and stir well.

As soon as it boils, set the wok flame to the lowest setting, break the noodles and stir them into the soup.
Then squeeze the half lime, and add the lime juice to the soup.
Let it simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally everything thoroughly.

Then serve it immediately.
